RCP, Rig Control Products

As a company RCP have been involved with the support, service and supply of oilfield equipment for well over a decade now.

Our longest serving engineers have been involved with the industry for over 25 years and can claim to have designed and implemented some of the first successful electronic drilling systems still in use today. To this day RCP continue to supply innovative and advanced equipment.

ATEX and CE approved control equipment further enhance our portfolio, including choke control consoles, pump stroke counters and mud flow transmitters.

Differentiation from other similar companies is our ability to call upon in house expertise to resolve control and instrumentation requirements quickly and effectively, always in complete control.

Without doubt, RCP are highly regarded as control systems specialists for drilling equipment.

Facilities

Offices and Workshop facilities in both Blackburn and Kintore (Aberdeenshire) and Singapore support RCPs’ onshore electrical and hydraulic engineering services. Excalibur house (Blackburn) is the group headquarters where the senior management team and the majority of our Engineers’ are located.

The groups’ hydraulic workshop is based in Kintore where we provide a wide range of services including hydraulic and pneumatic gauge calibration services and pressure test equipment hire. All hydraulic and pneumatic work is undertaken from here in this new facility.

RCP Singapore was established in 2012 under the trading name RCPAT Pte. Ltd. to ensure our customers in Asia Pacific and the Far East would have local support. Since then the company has grown into a trusted provider of engineering support and control and instrumentation solutions.

Kendrick Monaghan

Kendrick Monaghan

General Manager
Kendrick joined RCP in Sep 2012 as a project engineer and worked his way up to the role of GM in Jan 2025. Kendrick is a Electrial and Electronic Engineer and has worked on countless engineering projects for the oil and gas industry. Kendrick was given the role of GM to help grow the business both in Aberdeen and internationally. Kendrick holds overall responsibility for the success of RCP. With strong leadership skills and clear strategy Kendrick is confident the team at RCP can achieve their ambitious growth plans.
