RCP, a specialist Instrumentation and Control Systems company serving the oil and gas, energy, and processing industries, has been appointed as Scottish agents for Hoffer Flow Controls, a globally recognised manufacturer of precision flow measurement solutions.
Hoffer Flow Controls manufactures high-precision turbine flowmeters renowned for their accuracy, repeatability, and reliability across demanding industrial applications. Whilst Hoffer holds a strong reputation within the cryogenic industry, where precise measurement of liquefied gases such as LNG and liquid nitrogen is critical, the company is widely regarded as a world leader in turbine flowmeter technology for the measurement of clean liquids and gases across the full spectrum of processing industries. Their turbine flowmeters offer wide turndown ratios, low pressure drop, and high-frequency pulse output suitable for custody transfer and fiscal metering applications.
Their product portfolio extends beyond turbine technology to include electromagnetic flowmeters, ideal for conductive liquids across water treatment, chemical processing, and slurry applications, as well as ultrasonic flowmeters providing non-intrusive measurement with no moving parts and minimal maintenance requirements. Complementing these are advanced flow electronics including rate indicators, batch controllers, and signal converters compatible with industry-standard outputs such as 4-20mA, HART, and Modbus.
Commenting on the new partnership, Steve Fyffe, International Sales Manager at Hoffer Flow Controls, said:
RCP brings a level of knowledge, commitment, and resources to the North Sea oil and gas market that we are confident will provide our products with their best opportunities to fully meet the needs of this vital market.”
RCP’s appointment as Scottish agents reflects the company’s expertise in flow measurement, process instrumentation, hazardous area equipment, and control system integration, capabilities directly aligned with the technical demands of North Sea upstream and downstream operations and onshore processing facilities across Scotland.
Having known each other’s companies for many years, RCP felt it was a good time to formalise the partnership. This new agent agreement for RCP is a prime example of two companies aligning together and building on their existing relationship.
RCP will provide full technical support, application engineering, and sales representation for the complete Hoffer Flow Controls product range across Scotland.
